Athletics NI Board Member, Kathryn Walls Running the London Marathon with a Ukulele

Kathryn Walls, a member of Athletics NI Board and Willowfield Harriers runner will be taking on the challenge of London Marathon with her Uncle Tony, but she will be playing a ukulele!

Why is she running the London Marathon with a ukulele?

She’s running in memory of her sister, Eithne Walls a doctor who died in the fated Air France crash in Brazil in 2009.

While, her Uncle Tony is also running in memory of his sister Mary Walls, Kathryn’s mum, who was diagnosed with Dementia after losing Eithne.
