Athletics NI Cross Country League 2012-2013

The Athletics NI Cross Country League will return for the 2012- 2013 season.

The League fixtures for 2012/13 are:-

27th October 2012 –Bobby Rea XC – Kilbroney Park,  Rostrevor

3rd November 2012 – McConnell Shield - Sixmilewater Park, Ballyclare

1st December 2012– Malcolm Cup - Sixmilewater Park, Ballyclare

15th December 2012 – Northwest XC Championships - Gransha Hospital

12th January 2013 – NI and Ulster Senior XC – Greenmount Campus

23 February 2013 - Civil Service X/C - Stormont Estate

It is hoped that this early notice will enable all Clubs to plan ahead and that participation will increase. Additional Women's teams will be especially welcome.

Scoring will be calculated in each race using a predetermined formula (see below). Teams shall consist of the first four runners (men) and first three runners (women).

The teams will be combined seniors/veterans squads and all competitors must be 16 years or older. Teams that finish in the top four will still receive bonus points for participation.

Athletics NI will this year combine the Northern Ireland Senior Championship in conjunction with the Antrim IAAF International XC race on Saturday 12th January in Greenmount.
